Making Evidence Work Director, Ben Lewing, has been invited to deliver a keynote presentation at the upcoming Welsh Government conference for Flying Start and Families First leaders, on ‘What does evidence look like in the real world, and how can we unlock its potential?‘ on the 2nd of October 2025.
Ben will also be co-delivering a workshop with Zoe Lancelott, Head of Rhondda Cynon Taf Health Determinants Research Collaboration (RCT HDRC), exploring the practical application of real world evidence.
Ben commented “I am really looking forward to joining colleagues in Swansea and hearing about how things have moved on since the introduction of the EIF’s Maternity and Early Years Maturity Matrix. Flying Start, Families First and the Early Years Integration Transformation Programme have been hugely important in understanding how to build effective early years systems around evidence. I am also delighted to be working with Zoe – RCT HDRC are leading the way on evidence-use behaviours and creating a culture which values real world evidence.”
