Making Evidence Work have agreed to work with PEDAL, the Centre for Research on Play in Education, Development and Learning at the University of Cambridge, on identifying opportunities to scale-up use of the Playtime with Books programme in the UK.
Ben Lewing, Director at Making Evidence Work said “We are delighted to be working with the fantastic team at PEDAL. Exploring books together can be a wonderful part of the interaction between children and their parents and carers. The benefits for children’s language development, cognitive skills and relationships with their parents or caregivers are strongly supported by research evidence. Playtime with Books has great potential and we look forward to helping PEDAL to understand how to reach more parents.”
