Making evidence work for babies, children, young people and families.
Our mission is to empower local public service leaders to harness real-world evidence and provide support that works for families.
This ‘real-world evidence’ includes child and family experience, professional experience, contextual insights from local data, and scientific research.
Real world evidence brings families, communities and services together to ensure that all babies, children and young people have an equal chance to thrive.
We work with local system leaders, community organisations, national policy makers and research organisations to support and grow systemic approaches to using real-world evidence, built around using learning from experience, context and science.
Our approach
We collaborate and partner with others to get results and build opportunities for learning on evidence-use.
About us
Making Evidence Work is a community interest company, established by Steph Waddell and Ben Lewing to focus on how evidence is used to improve the lives of babies, children and young people.
